I know a few from on here worked at Lytham during the summer so wondered if anyone got the chance of a night out there. Thinking of going beginning of Feb for the Fleetwood/Bradford game and thought about going for a night out as I've a free travelodge in Blackpool but really don't fancy Blackpool.

The Taps is the busiest pub in town, plenty of decent real ale and always a good atmosphere. There's plenty of other decent bars and restaurants
Probably a good idea avoiding Blackpool, I'd expect it would be quiet in feb' anyway.

Brother lives in lytham and when ever I get over to see him we always start the night in taps and generally never get round to leaving, great selection of ales if that's your thing.

Sounds spot on to me, cheers.

Taxi shouldn't be too much back from Lytham should it?

I live here :-).

Taps is a good shout, new cocktail bar opened next door if you fancy that. Bar above Henry's across the road from taps is ok too.

Queens right on the front is ok, new wetherspoons at the other end of the main street if you fancy some cheap looseners aswell.

St Anne's is pretty poor IMO so would sail straight through in a cab to lytham

Edit: there's another new bar called Capri opened round the corner from taps, never been in though

Cheers Jocko, will be with the wife so the cocktail bars sound good lol. Just want to get away from Blackpool, really don't fancy staying there for the night.

No worries.

The cocktail bars near the taps are called Mojito (next door) and Capri just further round the corner.

If you're after going for a meal etc send me a PM and I can let you know where I'd good etc.

Enjoy.
