With Free Agency and the Draft completed, and teams busy with their OTA's, mini camps and training camps, now would seem a good time for a new season thread.

As a Raiders fan, it's going to be very interesting to see how things change under Chucky. I'm expecting a big improvement from this coaching team alone, as JDR and his co-ordinators seemingly didn't bother with coaching the players whatsoever.

However with a limited salary cap spend, our Free Agency additions have been more about value and veteran knowledge than exciting, marquee signings. So yeah, a lot will ride on our (hopefully) massively upgraded coaching staff.

Good luck to you all for the season, unless you are a Donkey, Chef, or Dolts fan.

And to start the season off, nice to see Terrell Owens acting like a dick over his Hall of Fame Induction refusing to turn up to the event. It really is a close run thing between all-time worst NFL team-mate between Owens and Rickey Watters.

For the Raiders, Marcus Williams would nominate Bill Romanowski for that award. Forced into retirement after an assault from a team mate, you can't get much worse.

As a fellow Raiders fan, very apprehensive about the upcoming season. Uninspiring Free-Agency

Hopefully they'll get Mack re-signed and build from this year, and even the receivers maybe could hold on to a couple of passes this season

I'm not so apprehensive. I think it will be a fun and interesting building season for us.

Last season was a complete train wreck, but most of that was on factors that aren't around this season :

Uninspiring coaching (complete new staff in 2018)
Shitty play calling from untalented co-ordinators (Gruden and Guenther calling plays in 2018)
Carr playing injured most of the season (now seems fit and ready)
No secondary whatsoever (Conley and Melvin have the potential to be a great CB pairing)
No defensive line push (hoping that the DL draft picks assist us here)
Diva receivers (probably the area we've improved most in offseason)

I don't think we'll get close to winning the division, I think it's the Chargers to lose in 2018. I think we will be a 9-7 team at worst, and a 10-6 team with a bit of luck. I'm expecting Gruden to give us a solid season and some stability. We need to get Mack signed, and then I'm looking forward to the season.

I think Elway has had a very good time in the trade and free agent market plus strengthened during the draft , still concerned about a lack of someone of quality behind the QB but this has to be a successful season for Elway and Joseph and playoff is a minimum , got high hopes and think it will be close those soon to be Vegas boys :D

As a Redskins fan, I'm approaching the season with optimism... We might manage a 6-10 season this year! Once again putting all our eggs in the QB basket and not giving them a proper O line to protect... Will see what happens, and I'll watch as many games as I can but not holding out much hope of play offs.

Looking forward to seeing the Seahawks when they come over to London in the autumn. Had season tickets for the games for the last 8 years and there really is nothing like being at the games. Shame i'll be missing out on the Eagles game this year... May well have all 4 tickets for sale!

Bill Romanowski - a friend of mine on the Bucs in the mid 90s hit him so hard on a sweep play that he said his steroids fell out of his ass.

Dez Bryant of the Cowboys is probably the worst locker room member of the current NFL along with Aqib Talib of the Broncos who is truly a dangerous individual.

As a Seahawks fan I am a bit apprehensive. Legion of Boom is no more and we seem to have made a few left field draft picks. But we still have an awesome QB and some excellent receivers. Here’s hoping

Hasn’t Dez been shown the long awaited door by Jerry?

Playoff as a minimum for Denver ? I think you need to lower your expectations mate. Most NFL experts have the Donkeys down to finish 4th in the AFC West, with the Raiders challenging you for it ! Chargers the favs.

Khalil Mack not attending the mandatory Mini Camp in Alameda this week.

I hope his contract gets sorted real fast, he's a generational talent. Our exciting rookie DL additions could be learning so much from him in camp.

Quite happy with the business that the Fins have done over the offseason - hoping that the offensive line will be less of a turnstile this year. Landry was much too expensive to resign as well.
Much hinges on how Tannehill plays & if McMillan can add some talent to the linebacking unit after their ACL injuries - even if both are only average, it would be an upgrade on last year. Also looking forward to seeing how Fitzpatrick fits in as well

Odds checker have Pats favourites for superbowl (quelle surprise), followed by Philly, Steelers, Green Bay........... Jets are least fancied, Dolphins next least favourite. Browns are only 5th least fancied!

Bookies aren't daft!

I dont have a team as such but will interested in Kansas, Minnesota and Green Bay. Hope Rodgers is fit and on form, great to watch the GB offense.
