Next James Bond

Never heard of him but a quick Google suggests he looks the part. Biggest relief, the bloke is English. I was worried that Amazon might do something stupid there.

Let's hope this means things get started again. It's been too long since Bond (do we even count the last one as a Bond film? Awful effort)

Yep agree - the main thing is he is British

I would love it to be Henry Cavill. He would be perfect.
Think he's too well known. Better to go with someone who's not had as much exposure, so people don't have preconceptions about what they'll be like.

I've got no idea who Aaron Pierre is, but I can see from the article that he is black, so that will be sure to upset a bunch of Daily Mail and Sun readers.

For what it's worth, I thought Tom Hiddleston would be a good shout, but perhaps he's too recognisable as Loki now.

Theo James is always mentioned, but I will never see him as anything other than the horrible hotel rep from the Inbetweeners movie. :ROFLMAO:

Is it dark moody ?

He just seems a little too nice
Yes, very dark moody. He can do suave, nice, moody. He would be a very good Bond imo.

Equally, his pay would be much greater than the guy you have posted about so maybe they are being smart. Bond doesn't need a famous actor, Bond as a concept is always bigger than the actor.

4 years older than Craig was when he started bond and with the movies being 4-5 years apart he has to be a bit old now unfortunately to play him

Id like to see a younger bond say 32

Back in the day when he was in EastEnders, I always thought Martin Kemp would have been a good James Bond!

Bond is dead,.it should just be 007 now.

Agree with this. If they want/need to diversify the main character, just have it set in the "Bond world" with a new guy (or girl) in the 007 role.

I'm not sure that would be a great move marketing-wise though. I would be seen as a spin-off rather than part of the main franchise, and probably have less interest as a result. 'James Bond' is a cash cow that I'm sure they'll continue to milk.

Trouble is, when miss fancy pants is just about to jump into bed with him she says “ what’s your name”. He says seductively
“ 007”. She then says “ yer a drunken tit” and Bond is dumped. Then the bad guys win and the world is blown up. 🙁

There is a small rumour but I'd actually be all for it.. tom Holland could be the next bond

Now for me he would be excellent, does his own stunt work .. English.. right kinda age for a younger bond (29 ATM so by time a film came out 32) so could really cement the younger 007 years..

He's very quick witted aswell which would suit the role

Also a very good golfer which backs up his goldfinger match play

Not dark or anywhere near moody enough

Can’t go from Spider-Man to James Bond

That's the thing we know him as Spiderman, but he does have a range in his acting

Many thought others would be awful, craig was too short for example

My personal favourite (Dalton) was so underrated at the time but when you look back the living daylights was an excellent film with a proper solid story and a gritty actor

That paintball scene to open was one of the best bond starts of all time

"Better make it 2" when he lands on the boat

Tom Holland would be a Roger Moore kind of Bond, a silly slapstick one. I like him, but not as Bond.

I think we need a gentleman Bond.
