Hello, as above I'm new to the forum and reasonably new to golf in general!

I've been a "Greenkeeper" for nearly 17yrs and have dabbled in the game on and off but recently took up a new post and have gone for the game big time!

I'm looking "Fore" a bit of advice so I'll start at the beginning, I bought a decent set of second hand clubs "Tour Edge XCG3's" but the driver was odd but decent enough anyway I broke the face on the driver so discarded it and bought a second hander off of one o the boys a "Crews Tourlink D-460" and you know what's coming next, I broke the face on it a few weeks ago!

I can out drive the resident pro (much to his disgust) so this time I plumbed for a new driver a "Tour Edge Bazooka 10.5 reg" but I can't hit this thing for toffee, it's goes left, right, up, down anywhere but where I want it to so I'm in the market for another driver but don't wanna risk anymore dosh than I have too so I'm going down the second hand route again this time I'm looking at a "Titleist 983k" 365cc, but can/have any of you guys got any suggestions as to anything which might be a bit more suitable (I know, your gonna tell me not to hit em so hard) for me, something a bit more solid would be good!

Sorry about the long winded intro, any help will be most appreciated !...:fore:

 Never say you can hit it further than a pro that is deemed impossible on here and you will be ridiculed, maybe the subject of private messages between members if really naughty. Don't know what will be causing the driver cracking as it's highly unlikely it's because you are hitting it too hard as they are designed to withstand a serious whack! Don't think there is much of a guide to which ones have the strongest face so just go try a few and see what you like. But if you are looking at older clubs the G line from Ping are highly regarded and cover most abilities.

Haha, don't worry bud it's common knowledge in the "locker room" he ain't that good, my average drive is in the 250-300 range the face split on my first one and I put a crease in the "D-460" so I don't know what I'm doin wrong, I'm using my "3-15 XCG3" 3 wood at the moment (nice solid head) that and the "3-17 rescue" which gives me 200-250 off the tee so I may just stick with them for a while but you know how it is "boys n their toys" thanks anyway buddy !

Average drive 250-300 ? Big hitter

Where do you play your golf ? HC ?

Plenty of meets going on at the moment - get stuck in
