Thanks, that sounds like really good advice I'm going to go into American golf in hazel grove tomorrow and have a play with a few clubs,

I've already got a weird habit that I hold clubs in left handed way ie left hand at the bottom :/ but that's how I've always played and tried many times to switch but I can't do it. I've also tried playing with left handed clubs with no luck

I'll probably end up going for a new set of clubs over second hand as then I can have a play with before buying at the shop

That would be great, be nice to meet a few other locals. How often do you play?
Hazel grove would probably be the one I looked at joining locally, I'll check out their website this afternoon and look at contacting the pro there

Its a nice course, Hazel grove, and I think they have USGA greens, so should drain well in winter.

I am going to try holding it the orthodox way now I am thinking of taking it a little more seriously no promises though

Can pick up some decent sticks for your budget. Any of the big names game improvement clubs from a couple of years back. Probably get something for around 130 150 and then leaves you 100 quid plus maybe for a driver 3 wood and maybe a wedge. Something like the ping g10 g15 range. Always easy to come across

Thanks I found a g20 driver for £50 which I had a play with and hit consistently down the middle so got that from American golf this morning
