Newbie feeling completely lost

In general, people who worry about venturing out too early should probably go and play. Those who steam in, probably shouldn't!🤣🤣🤣

@Spreadly tell us where you are, folk can recommend another pro if you stop seeing this one.. or get you out for a game!😉
Thanks, I'm in Cheshire / south Manchester.

Same as me . I recommend Adlington , Styal,Beeches . Also Cheadle, Alderley edge are 9 holers and where I used to play is Werneth Low 11 holes very friendly member but hilly. Give me a shout if you need any help

I’m round there as well and as Skytot says there are lots of options for beginners - Academy Courses at Styal & Addlington are good, and many of the clubs offer Academy memberships as cheap options to join and play as well as use the practice facilities.

Get out on a course and start enjoying all parts of the game.

And don’t worry I’ve been playing all my life, hit about 3 million range balls and can’t hit an 8 iron either

18 lessons and no mention of trying other clubs, chipping or putting is, and im putting this mildly, wild.

Grab a half set of clubs and head out to your nearest 9 hole or par 3 course. Bring a friend who plays if possible.

Let faster players through and take your time. Just enjoy yourself. Hit poor shots. Lose some balls. Hit one that makes you want to come back again. Get out and have some fun.
