New year - new career

So after a few very bad months work wise, cuminating in a completely blown engine just after xmas, I decided the time was right to take the plunge and seek proper employment, so I applied to a local coach operator for a trainee position. Very happy to say I found out today that I have been successful! Finally a bit of good news. Got a few hoops to get through, medical, theory test and driving test etc but I'm really looking forward to the new challenge, to knowing how much is going in my bank each month, and to letting someone else worry about my income tax! Might even get the time to take up golf again...
Any other good news stories to start the year?
