Hi Guys.

I'm thinking about changing my wedges. The ones I have are 5 years old, I got them to match my ping s59's. I'm thinking about going for vokey or do I buy the new Ping s56's.

Any info would be greatly received!

If this helps these were my feelings on the Ping demo day. As a better player you might find the S56 easier to control:

S56 wedge. Another classy shape and as usual with Ping a myriad of loft and bounce options available. I tried a 52 and 58 which match what I have in my own set up. Like the irons I found the wedges too heavy for my liking. A lovely buttery soft feel though but again not a club I'd be consistent with.

Tour W wedge. A slightly lighter feeling club and one I felt more comfy with. A classic shape I could get the ball to check or run out with ease and as good if not better than my TP Z's.

Try hundreds of wedges you'll ken when you find the right ones.

Very happy with the CG15's I've got.I've used most down the years and these ones have been in the bag as long as anything else and there's certainly no plans to change them.

I've just bought 3 new mp t-10 quadcut wedges for £120 total. 52,56 and a 60 that I want to try out for tight links courses.

Lovely looking wedge and great price now the t-11's are going to hit the shops.

I just got 50,56 & 60 in t-11's for the same price with my jpxpros,I've only used them twice but so far, so good, really lovely clubs.

I have had Vokeys, Mizuno, Cleveland and Callaway wedges over the past five years for varying lengths of time and none come close to the ones I have now which are Ping Tour. I think wedges are a bit like drivers and putters though and what works for one might not for the next man. Just my experience but based on it, they go further, stop faster and are more consistent than any other wedges I have carried.

Highly recommended.
