After spending countless hard earned pound notes on various putters I paid a visit to DW sports yesterday and paid the princely sum of £12.59 for a Slazenger blade putter with a milled face.

I thought, Seve was a slazenger man so they can't be that bad.

Took it around 18 holes last night and hit it close or in pretty much every time, and the 4 footers were much easier too.

Who says you need to spend a fortune???

Look out for 4 putters hitting ebay in the next week or so......

I cant understand golf at all, bought a Rife putter on saturday but forgot to take it with me when I played my mate later that afternoon,Ive been moaning about my "callie"
putter for ages, not making putts etc, saturday comes and Im
making putts from all over the place, very strange..

I always feel the putter is the most personal club in your bag. You can put also sorts of technology into them and have all sorts of good reviews thrown at you but you theres a special connection you feel when you pick up the putter thats right for you.

Im probably over romanticising a little bit but thats how it'd felt to me.

Didn't do Jim Furyk any harm last year when he won the Fed Ex cup with his $39 putter, so your putter cost half as much as his and he won $11m I reckon your on for at least $5m this year ;)
