Well guys after much toiling with the idea about changing irons this coming season, I am going to have another season with my now 5 year old pings. instead I bought myself a new putter. It's the odessey white ice 2ball v-line. Looks lovely. I went out this morning (like a kid with a new toy) and played 9 holes to see how it faired. 10 putts over 9 holes, great.
So this has given me the insentive to practice my putting more. Roll on the better weather I have 4 games arranged over the next 5 days, so hopefully I will still be singing the putters praises after that.
BTW, this is the 1st time I have ever bought myself a brand new putter.

I've just recently been given my first ever new putter (after 18 years of playing). The ones I've used before had been hand-me-downs.

It's rather nice.

Clubchamp,

I know that your a very low handicap so please don't take this the wrong way. Consider a V-Easy if you want to practice your stroke, it does work!

I have just got an awesome Odyssey black series number 2,and it is by far the best club I have ever bought! As putting is so important to your scoring it makes sense to invest in something tasty! ;)
