New Ping Tour S wedges & S56 irons!!!

There is a piece on the main GM site about the new irons and some more pictures. I have to say if they are anything like the I15's then I'd be tempted. They look a decent club and not Ping chunky as so many before have been. No mention of a release date or price but as the Open champ is using them I'd say sooner rather than later. Do GM know price and date?

It said in Golf World that they are made to rust, not sure I would like to fork out cash to watch them rust. The wedges that is not the irons.

Believe the wedges are in 3 finishes, silver, nickel and the rusty one.

There's also a new K15 line due out in November in the States. Super Game improvement, made to go straight. Google it.

There is no such thing as an ugly Titleist Iron. When the lord himself visualised what a golf club should look like it was uncannily like a Titleist 695MB.

Hi all,

Just to answer Homer's question, the s56 irons and Tour S wedges will be out at the beginning of September. The price for the irons is £100 per club for the steel option, 129 for the graphite. I'm afraid I don't know the price of the wedges but I should think they will be fairly similar to last year's Tour W in terms of price (so fairly standard for a premium wedge).
