New multi tool design_ Bespoke golfer

I'm one of the few that liked the leather score card holder, but I'm afraid I don't like the multi tool. Not for me - my pocket holds a round ball marker, couple of tees and the best pitch mark repairer anyone can buy

Flat pitch mark tools don't work for me, they are just uncomfortable to use and always too small to hold. The Scotty tool is fantastic, quick and easy to use and repairs even the deepest holes instantly, will never change mine.

think ive been through 3 or 4 bushnell cases in the last 5 years, would happily pay good money for a decent case!!!!!

There you go OP er, how many more guys like Fundy and I out there would pay for a quality replacement range finder case.... lots I'm guessing

I'm another in this camp aswell, range finder cases are all rubbish! Various brands among folk I play with and everyone says the same about their case, something ripped or broken on all of them.

My case is perfect its the older version of the V3 Jolt with Velcro.

What exactly would yours be like in the ideal world of course?

I understand the newer versions are harder and a bit more fiddly.

This is the new version, and the middle pic is about as far as it opens.

The little black lug thing broke off mine other week, bit of superglue and it's back working, but I would consider buying a nice leather case for the above. Trouble is there are different companies and sizes so you would have to take that into account.

I assume you want honesty so here it is...it looks like that sort of thing that a non-golfing relative would buy a golfer for xmas because they don't know what else to buy and would ultimately end up in the drawer with the other bits and pieces a golfer has no real use for.

I wish you luck I really do but I just don't see a need for it.

Pretty honest and right on the money

I will be straight up, (i'm a Product Designer myself) I see many variations of these kind of things. You are operating in a very saturated market and all you have done is re-styled an existing product. You hit the nail on the head, producing prototypes and a batch run was very expensive. Quite while you are ahead now and just use this as an experience. Apologies if this came across blunt!

i'm thinking of just getting my V2 case repaired and using that instead. i really struggled to get the thing out with the new case, and that elastic band keeps pinging me on the fingers:(

I quite like it but always been a fan of multi-function items

I don't see a requirement for the case/pouch as shown though

Not for me I'm afraid. I just don't see a need for it. Tees, pitch repairer, ball market and pencil in my pocket and that's it.
To me, this looks like another item you will find on the shelves of TK Maxx at Christmas or on special GroupOn deals at a greatly reduced price.

The best market may actually be for company logoed gear for marketing design companies. There is enough free space on there for a decent size logo/image.

For cleaning grooves I find the best thing is a wet non-abrasive pan cleaner in a zip-up sandwich bag. Cleans the whole face and grooves quickly and easily.

Oh, and I'm also curious as to what a "tee snapper" is.
