Afternoon,

I have previously posted asking for some market research on some leather score card holders I was looking to produce, I took the feed back some of you guys left and have further developed the idea.

I am once again just looking for a bit of feedback, please find some prototypes attached. Do you like the idea? design? would you buy one for yourself or as a gift? do you feel it is missing anything? any feed back positive or negative is much appreciated!

They are still fully hand crafted here in Yorkshire, and produced in bold colours to fit with current trends.

They can now be individually personalise with name, club name, club logo, happy birthday etc.

As a side note, it was mentioned before that a few of you wanted a more innovative product, this has been noted and am currently developing something I am pretty excited about.

Once again thanks for taking the time to read this and seeing the designs.

Cheers

How do they cope with getting very wet and mucky?

I have to say that I just never much bother with these (I've got a few - gifts) - I just stick my card in my back pocket - or if I'm using a trolley the trolley has a built in card holder.

I've never found a score card holder that improved my game. Sorry but cheap and cheerful does for me. I'd rather spend the balance on decent golf balls.

I always find them too bulky for my back pocket....and therfore I just give up with them.

This.
I've got a scorecard holder on my golf trolley and never use it.
Back pocket every time.
Like I said in your previous thread, they seem to be the type of thing that well meaning relatives tend to buy the new golfer for Christmas/Birthday presents, but never get used after the 1st time of trying.

Think the next stage in scorecarding should be a technology product that updates the central database as you go around the course wirelessly. It's a right royal pain in the bum when you need to input your score into the computer after a medal. Especially when you're halfway down the road in the car with the scorecard in your back pocket.

Personally, I like a nice leather scorecard holder and was looking for one only just a month or so ago. Had been on the lookout for a while as I couldn't find what I was looking for (something to match my wallet design), however, my last search found a couple of places now making good designs. Not too dissimilar to the ones you are making, I found and really like these http://www.carveon.com/collections/all-goods/products/scorecard-holder-dark-brown, almost exactly what I had been looking for.

in answer to your questions:

Do you like the idea? design? Yes I do, although not my personal colour choice.
Would you buy one for yourself or as a gift? Yes I would
Do you feel it is missing anything? I think it's missing somewhere to keep the pencil in place.

I just typed in 'golf scorecard holder' into Ebay and got 558 other people selling them.
Everything from £1.99 to £45.
I think you're wasting your time and money.
Sorry

Oooooh!
That's a bit below the belt!!
:whistle::whistle::whistle:

Shurrup you. :D

Not so sure on leather wallets for the reasons mentioned above, bulk is awkward though I wear cargo pants while playing so I suppose it could fit in the leg pocket, wouldn't feel comfortable though as I remove my wallet from there before going out too.

I like them and I'd buy one when my current one is old and dishevelled. I'd like a waterproof one though!

Not really Smiffy.
If you type in V-Easy there are only 9 listings for it and they were ALL designed by me.
My point was and still is, there are 558 people selling their own score card holders and thats a lot of competition There is only one V-Easy.

Just saying...

Gis a smile Bob.:D

Good luck with your venture, they look good and I'd buy one but I've already got one from iliac golf which is very nice, it's thin and very flexible and shapes to ones posterior for a comfy fit, almost a custom fit.
