New Mizuno irons...

MP-63! Oh sweet baby jebus! I need some of those in my life.
Don't do it Aztec, they will be like a supermodel. They will tempt you with their sleek profiles, make you believe they are the best thing going then when you take them out they will humiliate you and leave you a broken emotional wreck. :D

i am a bit of a closet Mizuno fan and all of those look very very sexy. wonder what the pricing will be like.

:D

You're probably right.

My sensible head says to go to the Mizzy fitting centre in Oxford, get my specs then go the eBay route. As I really can't justify spending on a shiny brand new set.

By god they're fit though!

Saw on a US forum that there were already forgeries out on the market before the launch of the new Mizuno offerings

Beware the ebay bargain

I wasn't sure about these from the pics on various websites, but I saw them in the pro shop at Bearwood Lakes after the Mizuno sales day a couple of weeks ago, and they really look Fan. Tas. Tic.

Also, the 53 and 63 look similar enough in overall design for a nice hybrid set.

The new line up look much more like 'Japanese' release models than they've put out on these shores. The 53's seem like they could be a better mx300 replacement than the 900's that are actually taking there place.

Well the pics on the Mizuno web site look nice, wonder when the first of them will hit the stores in my area.

Must admit the JPX800Pro does have a certain appeal, if it is as forgiving as they claim :o

The MP53s look tasy as well.

As for the rest, one can always dream :D

I'll reserve judgement until I see them in the flesh.

Guessing that the JPX 800 pro kinda replaces the MX300, and the standard cast 800 replaces both the 100 and 200 then.

Good to see a line up of 6 rather than 8 different sets though. But I do wonder if they've missed the rank beginner market, or SGI market. Unless of course the 800's are as forgiving as they claim on their website.

I agree I'd need to see them in the flesh but I'm realistic enough to know the 63 will be too hot to handle for my inconsistant swing. I think it's good if they are cutting the range down a fraction too which will help the average golfer amke a reasoned choice without getting overly confused
