Hi guys, been reading the GM forums for the last month or so and have finally taken the plunge and registered!
I have been playing for about 18 months and am not currently a member of a club so don't have an official handicap yet (playing off 24ish). I regulary play in and around the Leicestershire/Nottinghamshire area, mainly at Longcliffe, Greetham Valley, Lingdale and Cotgrave (now The Nottinghamshire).
Looking forward to getting involved, its very entertaining! Be gentle with me!

Region3 - yeah some nice courses, fortunate that my brother is on the green staff at Longcliffe so we can get guest of a member rates. Played your place Beedles a few times, my boss is a member there, is it still a bit of a nightmare to get a tee time?
 
Welcome aboard, I know Greetham Valley well, used to live in the village before moving to Grantham

Greetham and surrounding area is lovely and the valley course is great, playing it in a couple of weeks actually, nice and short with plenty of par 3's!

It's a struggle if you want a weekend morning at short notice, but other than that I've not had a problem.
