Afternoon all

It's been a bit quiet on the fitting opportunity front but we are back with a very exciting one...

we are looking for four GM readers/forumers to be the first 'real' golfers to be fitted (5 weeks ahead of the official launch) for the new Titleist 913 driver that Rory and many of the Tour staff pros have put in the bag

http://www.golf-monthly.co.uk/galleries/34246/1/0/titleist-prototype-913-drivers.html

If you are selected you will be fitted by Titleist tour technician at Titleist’s National Fitting centre in St Ives, Cambs and will receive a custom fitted 913 driver

The fitting will be featured in a subseqenrt issue of the mag and also online so you'll need to be happy to be in the limelight!

The fitting will be on Monday September 24th at Titleist’s National Fitting centre in St Ives, Cambs

If you can make the date and are interested in being considered then put yourself forward by sending an email to me michael_harris@ipcmedia.com
with the following info...

name
forum user name
contact telephone number
age
handicap
current make/model of driver you use
date driver purchased
was the driver custom fitted for you

So what would the best route be for me from Ireland .. ok ok plane would be the best , but to what airport ha , no point entering if the commute is too mad ..

This is a very long shot but if on the slim chance we both get selected and you can get to heathrow, I'll happily pick you up and you can come with me. Like I say though, its a very long shot

I am in as its just down the road from where my wife is living and I can tie it in with a trip to visit her. I am also thinking of moving away from my driver as the shaft was "fitted" by eye and technique observation rather than launch monitor. I also feel the draw bias is causing me a bit of an issue too! I strike it well but I know I really need a new head and a properly fitted shaft.

I still think at the time what I got was right for me through the 2010 and 2011 seasons but going forward I could do with a change!
