New Club Question

Hi All

Ive just ordered a new Wilson 60 wedge and I told the guy that my irons are +1" and 5 degrees up so ive ordered the club with the same as my irons!!

Is that correct???

If your irons were fitted for you, then the lob wedge shouldn't be far out.
When your wedge arrives, get it checked for you by your local pro just to make sure

5 degrees up is an awful lot. Mind you, so is plus 1", so I am guessing you are about 9 ft tall.

All my new clubs are so much easier to play with than my old normal clubs so hopfully should be fine

Ive just looked at my old clubs and it seems that with my new clubs at 5 degrees up my 5 iron is about 5" closer to me when I strike the ball. With the extra 1" on my new irons I am also standing up a lot straight (although not too straight... no more bad backs!)

My old clubs did feel like I was stretching out to hit the ball but I would be interested to know if any one else thinks 5 degrees up is too much???

Maybe we shouldn't
