My missus bought me s similar one from eBay a year and a bit ago.
Yes they do full hd, on a bright day it looks superb. With these cheaper models though anything not super bright will be a pain as the processor struggles to focus. The hinge on the pullout screen isn't very good either. The menu systems are basic and the led light is useless and only serves to murder battery life quicker.
In this case you do get what you pay for. My advice would ve to buy a branded slightly older Model that dies 720p comfortably.

Thanks Brendy.
I still cant decide whether to get a camera that does video (Casio EX FH 20/25) or a camcorder that takes pictures.

Just bought a Casio Exilim FS10 for £146 from Amazon. Brilliant slow motion capabilities up to 1000 fps ( obviously need bright light for this). 420 fps is more than enough to film a golf swing.
Also can shoot 30 frames in one press of the button which is another good way to film the golf swing.

Some other great features as well.

Going out to film my swing!!!!!

big vote for the casio here bob, chuffed with the EX-FH100 for what was £150 in the end.

the great bit for me is to be able to replay frame by frame straight after hitting shot
