New Callaway balls for 2014

I bought several boxes of hot hex balls when on special from Snainton Golf reduced from £23 to £9.99. To be honest I find them to be very similar to the other established mid range balls and very similar to the Pro VX in terms of feel. Ok they probably won't stop dead on a firm green however not many balls do.

Although some may knock them I'm happy enough to use them because at the price they are as good as some balls costing considerably more money

I did similar with the Hex Hot Pro, and found my ideal ball for overall all round play. I have never been able to get the best out of the Pro V1 ball, but the old Hex IX was brilliant for my game. I don't like the Chrome or Chrome+ despite the latter being prescribed for me at a fitting session.

Never really understood some of the negative comments on Callaway balls, I have used them before and still do sometimes. Can't say as I noticed much difference in performance to any of the other premium offerings.

It's predecessor the HX Diablo Tour was a great ball for the price
