Hi Peps

I am after a little bit of advice I have noticed today I have excessive wear on my shafts from rubbing on my bag, I am a bit gutted as my 3 wood is only about 6 months old.

Whats the best bag to get??????????????

Just curious, but do you lean your arms on your clubs when you are walking to your ball?

When I was carrying last year, I noticed that i started to wear through the shaft on my driver and realised that the weight I was putting on the driver with my arm was causing it to rub against the divider in my bag, making it wear through.

Once i replaced the driver and stopped leaning on it, i never had the same problem again, even with the same bag which was showing signs of wear from the previous club rubbing.

No I have a cart, but I understanding what your saying.

I'm assuming you are talking about graphite shafts?
If so, wrap some tape around the area of shaft and if the shafts are black and you use black tape then you wont even see it.

I had this issue, it was a combination of an old bag and me leaning on the heads. Will not be doing that again!

Now I have two new shafts (custom fitted and are perfect so there is some silver lining) and now I have an electric trolley :D

Carrying tonight with the old bag taped up and relined so all plastic is covered with foam!
