Finally breaking 90 this morning and shooting 85.

Had a lesson Tuesday and was just going to use my round with a work mate this morning as a practice one to get used to what I got taught in my lesson to stop me overswinging.

Driving was abit iffy at times but my irons were really good, especially with anything 100 yards in.

They were top dressing the greens so they were poor so and putting was abit of a hit and hope but I don't think they really cost me any shots.

Anyway I've got the joys of work now to bring abit of a downer on the day.

That bit in your post, 100 yards and in! The scoring zone, that my friend is why you shot 85.

Well done, great feeling. Now next step is yo beat the single snowman.

Well done! How did they stop the overswing?

Gave me a drill where I took it back to parallel and "set it" and stopped then completed the rest of the swing.

I did it as a pre shot routine today and it really helped. It felt to me like I was barely giving it a half swing but I was hitting it just as far if not a little further and so much straighter and it felt so much more in control.

Thanks.

For the first time today it felt as though I was able to control the distance with my shots from 100 yards in because I was striking it so nice.
