At the end of today's competition I came in around the 30 point mark and was grinning from ear to ear. With the weather and injury I had basically 7 weeks off and signs were that I had forgotten how to hit a golf ball. Last week I scrambled to a derisory 24 points and yesterday was so bad I stopped after 9 holes.

Today I was striking it well and only a couple of silly blobs stopped it being a reasonable round. My main concern is still distance off the tee but I can work on that but I am just happy to be hitting the ball with some semblance of proficiency

No idea at the moment. May need a trip to see Bob and have a look at what can be done.

I would jut enjoy being back out. Course still down to 9 holes and the world and his wife looked to be trying to play. It was taking 45-60 minutes at some points from finishing nine to getting back off the first again. It's the main reason I've not been bothering when it has been down to 9 holes and been honing my pitching and short game
