Is golf an elitist sport?

Is it good for the game to have this elitist image?

Do u think the people who run golf (e.g the Pga and european tour) are doing enough to break away from this image?

How much do you pay annually for membership?

Whats the most expensive Green Fee you would pay?

I would try and keep it no more than 65 pound/round for now But a special trip to st andrews/carnoustie etc i would pay the good money. As for augusta i would pay a good few pounds but wouldnt make it a habbit
