Hi if anyone would give me a moment of there time to answer these questions in order to complete this assingment im working on it would be much appricated. thanks.

Is golf an elitist sport?

Is it good for the game to have this elitist image?

Do u think the people who run golf (e.g the Pga and european tour) are doing enough to break away from this image?

How much do you pay annually for membership?

Whats the most expensive Green Fee you would pay?

Any answers would be much appricated thanks for your replys.

1. No

2. Prejudges Question 1, therefore you or the examiner(?) have an in-built bias.

3. See previous answer

4. £400 (but could be less if I was 'un-waged')

5. As previous respondent, depends on the course. Though it would need to be pretty special if more than £100.

Probably, until you get to know the ordinary folk who also play it. I've been a member at exclusive and public courses. Despite my pompous attitude (on here), I'll play with princes and paupers.

Yes, if it's true, don't really want the courses and clubs full of ******

What image? image is in the mind of the beholder

£450

£50 for the day. Don't often play on someone else's expensese.

1. Not in this country. In others maybe.

2. You've answered your own question.

3. Likewise

4. £420

5. Never paid more than £100 for a round. It would have to be special to pay more.

1) Not an elitist game, to outsiders maybee but some of the @rseholes who are taking up the game pi$$ me off hugely and wonder why they get the cold-shoulder from established golfers, becuase your'e a to$$er mate, thats why!

2) There isn't an elitist image.

3) Not applicable as there isn't such an image.

4) In between clubs at the mo, insufficient time to justify rounds played against cost.

5) Depends on the course completely, lets say £200 if it was worthwhile.
