Near PB..

Played a blinder today at the monthly stableford. Started with a birdie. Usually, having a good first hole is a bad omen for me as I blowout the rest of the round. However, kept my game together. Standing on the 9th tee, I was +6!! Then a triple bogie blob started a slide. Pulled it back and finally finished the round with

3 birdies (nothing like a 4 pointer)
2 blobs (including a lost ball)
2 lip outs

... Finished with 39 points. At some point I was running the risk of finishing in the mid 40s. If it was strokeplay, I would have been a PB.

Handicap got cut back to 18.4 Plus will get some money for '2s for 2s'.. Happy days.

Those who r on Twitter, might have seen what happened to my ball after I let the son 'help me in marking my ball'.




GM retweeted it and then PGA did it too, that sent it around the world. Luckily I was not playing the ball 'designed' by my son. After losing the other ball, started using the Picasso Ball... So I still have it. Given the run I had with it, I might ask him to mark all future comp balls..
