I asked Virtuocity if he would be willing to organise a south of Scotland qualifier , but only after you had your numbers in place . I can't see a problem as the 2 venues will be over 200 miles apart .![]()
then why not wait as we agreed by PM?

Surely Scotland is big enough to be able to host two events ?
Last year ther was two events within ten miles of each around London
Im sure he is just trying to arrange a comp for people that cant travel all the way up to Inverness
its not a comp to see who can arrange what
A while back you could have got a few Scottish meets but not nowadays, we used to have a cracking squad of lads who'd meet up.

As we agreed yes and i have sent you a PM , but Virtuocity is his own man.then why not wait as we agreed by PM?
Surely all that matters is getting as many people playing as possible.
Then let them get on with it......unless you are offering to help. You could always do one for the BBO area
You are right i could be and may well be trying to source a venue
In which case you'll understand the logistical issues.
It might be nearer .You are right i could be and may well be trying to source a venue

Depends who
Im struggling to see what Patrick has an issue with
He has volunteered to organise a meet up near Inverness - great
Virtucity has offered if there is a need to organise another 200 miles away ?
That then gives people options ?
Why worry though. You live miles away and wouldn't be playing. Let the Scots do the worrying
Please dont make assumptions.
Google says from my home to Nairn gc. its 180 miles estimated travel time 3 hours 14 mins. Royal Liverpool gc. is 221 miles estimated travel time 3 hours 40 mins.Depends who
