I was speaking as an Englishman there and had forgotten Scotlands royal line being separate for many years, forgive me; although I do get to vote in the referendum![]()
Didn't last long after the arrow![]()
I suppose he could have any christian name they want and when king will be given a formal name as well - after all the Queen has two birthdays.
So he could be Frank Windsor... that's got a definite 'dah dah daaah - dah, dah dah dah dah, dah dah daaah - dah dah dah daaah' to it.
Pity the did not remember that when they crowned Oor Lizzie II.
I like the original Malcolm Canmore {big head}
King Sandy or Zander [Alexander] has something going for it.
Why? She is Queen Elizabeth II of England, you can call her Elizabeth I if you need to.![]()
well you don't if you are king of the weearrapeepel - unless you are King Sally that is![]()
QEI just like James I of a united Britain.
You would be happy with James VIII then ?
Or Blair maybe after another burden on the Taxpayer?
hoho - wit unbounded![]()
No worse than most of the rubbish on this thread
So Tony Blair (I assume) is a burden on the taxpayer? Wasn't aware of that!
To be honest it wouldn't be tangling my knickers however, he would obviously be James III
Why obviously?
Do different rules apply between Scottish, English and British monarchs?
There is only a British Monarch, currently Her Majesty Elizabeth the Second, by the Grace of God, of Great Britain, Ireland and the British Dominions beyond the Seas, Defender of the Faith.
You could of course write to Her Majesty and ask her to refer to herself as Elizabeth I in Scotland; mind you, Winnie Ewing (MSP) tried it and got nowhere and she was President of the SNP, so as a bloke on a golf forum I don't rate your chances![]()
She is still a Queen with a wrong title. Somebody messed up big time in 1953.
