There have been a few terms used in posts on here that I’m. It familiar with. There was just another, and now there’s enough mystery that I feel I need to ask... what are:
  • LLs
  • Blobs
  • Scrambles
  • Swindles
?

Scramble is a format where you play as a team, you all drive, you pick the best one then all play from there. continue the same way and shoot -10 or better for the only time in your life

  • LLs - Lucy Lockets - another term for a shank
  • Blobs - When you can't score on a hole in stableford
  • Scrambles - Texas scramble is a team event where you pick a persons shot and all play from that position and repeat until the ball is in the hole
  • Swindles - Another term for a roll up group. Also sometimes referred to as greedies

Scrambling as opposed to a scramble
Is your ability to make par not in regulation.

Par in regulation on a par 4 is on the green in 2 plus 2 putts.

If you put your 2nd shot in the rough, or a bunker and then chip close and hole the putt, you have scrambled a par ?
