My swing fault

I think I now know what my swing fault is and what's been holding me back for too long.
The problem is, I don't know how to correct it/what the solution is.

I believe I'm unaware of a certain feel that I need to have a repeatable and consistent swing.
My inconsistency is as big as it gets and I'm now at the stage where I believe my good shots are just luck.
I just want to know what feeling I need in my body - whether it be my legs, upper body, hips, core, etc.

Does that make sense to anyone or does anyone have any offers of tips, to try something?

The biggest problem with feel is that to a very great degree you are recording differences rather than absolutes. A significant grip change, or shoulder position, will feel different until it doesn't...the classic being someone looking to increase their shoulder turn based on feel eventually overswinging massively as they continue to pursue the same feeling!

Back to your question, there are a number of coaching devices designed to enable the pupil to be forced into the correct positions...or their any number of good teaching pros to take you step by step to achieving it, at which point it should feel the way it does.

I've had many lessons and many with fantastic well respected coaches.
The problem is my swing feels different all of the time. The only consistent shot I have in golf is off the hosel, caused by hands and body going forward at the top of the swing.
None of the coaches have ever provided me with a solution to this.

I love the idea of practicing and have the time to, but I no longer do for one reason only. Being that I do nothing but hit the hosel when I practice, so I ingrain the problem.
It's got to a stage where I can no longer go to the range as it's in my head.
I don't mean once or twice, or it happened for 2 weeks. I mean regularly.

If I had a spell away from the hosel with some good results starting to appear, I would never be away from the practice area

It sounds as if you have a throw at the top which results in an out to in approach at impact.
I would suggest starting with a one quarter length and speed swing with an 8/9 iron and try and feel the club going back and through on a straight line. (It won't be but that's how it will feel.)
Only aim to hit the ball no more than 50yds.
That will help with the swing path.
Then gradually increase the length of swing.

Hit a load of balls and I’d say the vast majority were very straight.
Struggled to just get 50 yards, and was closer to 100 after rolling out (8 irons).
The bad ones appeared to be closer to the hotel and went right.
Also when I extended the swing they weren’t as good but just retreated back to the small swing.

More of the short ones you think and just drill it home?

Yes, and make sure the backswing isn't sneaking back too much on the inside because that's often the cause of the bad ones.
