I just felt I was ramming everything too far past.
My putting has been pretty good this season and today was the first time I have used this ball.

Couldn't agree more. I use all 3 versions of Wilson Staff balls and the odd Nike Vapor and Pro V. Never noticed problems with putting.

Certainly couldn't blame the course.The conditions were quite good yesterday after that bit of rain we had on Friday.The par 5's were reachable yesterday apart from 11.

A change of ball can have a dramatic effect on your putting - more so than tee to green. If you normally use, say, NXT Extreme or Warbird but then you find a ProV and use that on the next hole, the chances of you putting well with it are slim. The ProV being much softer will obviously need a "bit more" than the warbird.

Mildly related I suppose, but talking of balls affecting putting. The Callaway tour ix feels so clicky off of the club face it is unbelievable. Since using this ball I do believe that a change could affect someone's short game quite radically on a given round.
