My New Shineys!

Popped into American golf to have a 'look' at what Irons I might get next month for my birthday and low and behold I cam out with a set of Callaway X22cg's

Pops also traded in his Wilson irons and bought himself some Cobra S3 irons to match his woods.

Tried out a few clubs in the shop and the callaways felt the best by far. I tried out Ping G10's which felt a bit heavy, like wise for the Cobra S3's. Tried the AP1's which when I caught them felt like they would go a mile but the Callaways just felt so good in my hands, felt lovely and effortless through impact, plus I managed to stick the 7 Iron through the top of the net in the MK branch

Short game practice for me tonight either putting and chipping or if it stays bright then a cheeky par 3 nine hole after work. Lesson getting booked for Sunday so before you all know it I'll be on the tour

Sounds like it might be time for devastating stomach cramps.
Grab your stomach, double over, scrunch up your face and howl.
Make sure your boss is in earshot and if they ignore you howl again a little louder.
When they come over insist you'll be fine in a minute but have another howl as they walk away. Trust me you'll be sent home sick in minutes.
Doesn't even count as a proper sicky as you were in work and your boss sent you home!!

Haha, wasn't wishing the day away until now!!

I do actually feel a bit rough today as it happens

Had a play on the range with them last night and they do feel lovely, just looking forward now to getting a lesson to correct my cutting across the ball.

Played a cheeky par 3 last night and I was striking the ball in the majority really well.

Loving these clubs and cannot wait for a few lessons.
