My Last 3 weeks Golf :)

3 weeks ago i was playing off 5.3 which i kinda was sticking at for the last 2years since i came back to golf after taking 6yrs off.

3 weeks ago i shot level par in home club medal 70-5 = 65 css for day was 71. This round took me down to 4.7

7 days later i played a 36hole comp at away course and shot 1st rnd: 3under par 67-5=62 css: 68 2nd:76-5=71 ccs: 68, After this comp i was standing at 4.2 which i was really happy with.

3 days later it was my home club 5 day open with 2 qualifying rounds which i shot 1st rnd: level par 70-4=66 ccs:70 2nd rnd: 2 over par 72-4=68 ccs: 70, After this took me down to 3.6

played a couple of rounds at away courses and ended up going up 0.3 so that took me upto 3.9 then i took a couple of days off golf as was all golfed out etc.

today i went out in home club medal and shot 2under par 68-4=64 css: 70 which takes me down to 3.3

I cant of dreamed of coming down 2 whole shots in only 3 weeks golf. few days time am going back to play 2 rounds at the away course i shot 3 under par at so am on a high and full of beans to perform there again

i have been playing quite a bit but i havent worked on anything really. i was reading a golf mag cant remember which one and there was a tip about chipping around the greens as thats what let me down alot in the past and since seeing and using the tip i have been fantastic around the greens. I dont worry now when i miss the greens.

Still not happy with my driver off the tee i have been swapping between my titleist 907 and 909 the last 3 weeks so need to sort that out before playing my next comp.

Never heard that?

As far as am aware the club does all the cutting. SGU might be different from english am not sure

got 2 rounds this week for qualfying etc and am looking to shoot low to try get close to 2 handicap now
