Just after having my hole-in-1 on Saturday I went out yesterday not expecting much.
Having hit my 2nd shot into 3 foot on the 1st, which I missed, I thought here we go. I managed to get through 7 holes 2 under. Anyone who knows our course will know their the hardest holes on the course. Anyway, standing on the 10th 2 under thinking the easy holes to come. I managed to make par (5) on the 10th. The guy I was playing with missed a 4 footer to go 4 under. I then birdied the 13th, parred the next 2 then birdied 16 & 18 for a PB of 5 under.
Not a boggie in sight. I had 43 pts. Not the 1st time I've had 43 pts but off 2 it is.
So another ball to add to my collection, I have got 2 balls signed by playing partners over the last 2 rounds.
If someone would let me know how I can add my card on here I'd like to show it off.
Shame I wasn't in a competition yesterday I would of got cut to 1.5, but there's always today.
I'm chuffed, 13 par's, and 5 birdies. 25 putts, I only missed 1 fairway and 2 greens all day.
The 4ball's handicaps were Pro, scratch, 2 and 6.
 
You've hit a rich vein of form there CC. I hope you've got some big comps lined up soon to take advantage of it. Puts my level par 72 yesterday to shame
 
WOW, that must have been a dream round. Just take a photo of the card and post the photo.

Very well done! Making the birdies on 16 & 18 must have felt great... almost like freebies ("hmmmm, I'm 4 under and have this putt to go 5 under, if I miss it then 4 under is still a great day, here goes.....")

I'd say "onwards and upwards" but 6 under might be a push! :D :D :D

I played today, in a comp, yep woke up again or back down to earth. I was 2 over for 2 holes doubled the 2nd, [****] here we go, I thought. Level after 5, par, birdie, birdie, then went par par par birdie. 1 under after 9 holes, happy days I thought, wrong,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Bogied our par 5 10th, missed 2 short putts on 12 & 13 for birdies. missed another one on 15th, yet another bogie on our par 5 16th, bogied 17 and parred 18th. I felt as if I was 10 over par, I finished 2 over, level to handicap. Such a difference a day makes.
On the brighter side, in our fouball match we were 4 up after 11 holes, the guy we were playing against was 2 under par. Now explain that to me, someone is 2 under par and 4 down after 11 holes. We won the match and a few quid.......
