Another one for me is Halo by Texas. I remember not feeling affected by the whole Princes Diana death situation then watched TFI Friday that day with tributes on the screen backed by that song and it seemed so right, a fitting tribute that brought a tear to my eye.

Most of the songs by Sigur Ros. I know they have been played to death at all the emotional moments on reality tv shows and the like, but listened to in the right context it's hard not to feel some emotions wether sadness one minute or euphoria the next.

Not cynical at all...music nearly always makes me think of something in my past, be it good or bad. At the moment I'm having a particular downer, and every song I hear seems to remind me of "her"...
