Has anyone played here?

I'm going on holiday close by for a weeks in June and I'm taking the clubs along so I'm hoping to get at least a few games in.

Could anyone tell me what iv'e got to look forward to, or any other recommendations in the area

Thanks :)

Hello there,

Mullion is a real fun 'holiday' golf course with lots of interesting holes and some great views. It's where I went on my first golfing holidays with a couple of mates and we always enjoyed playing it.

The other ones we have played in that neck of the Cornwall woods in order of experience/preference would be West Cornwall, Perranporth, Newquay and then places like Falmouth and even Cape Cornwall. Mostly links, and all nice courses for a golf holiday, with Mullion, West Cornwall and Perranporth the pick of them.

Hope this is of some help

hi there,im from cornwall and there is lots of places to play done here just look on golf courses in cornwall on the net and that will show u all the courses greenfees etc

Never played Mullion but it's a lovely neck of the woods and I've heard very good reports. While I'm biased, I'd say West Cornwall is a much better course than Truro, the latter is okay, but nothing special, and as an inland course, it could be anywhere.

West Cornwall, while not long, is far from a pushover, and has some awesome views over St Ives Bay and up the north coast (take your camera). It also tends to be in excellent condition all year round. St Ives is a lovely town, so send the other half into town for the day while you enjoy the course... I'd offer for you to play as my guest, but unfortunately I'm off to Borneo for a year this March.

Wherever you decide to play, enjoy it!
