MP630 driver

Impulsively went over to the Gullane GC pro shop at lunchtime and bamboozled by shiny new things and sale signs everywhere came out with a brand new Mizuno MP630 driver (non adjustable one). I saw it and just wanted it there and then. Not at all sure what happened, retail therapy perhaps, thought I was stronger than that.:mmm: First brand new driver I’ve bought since a Ryder Mk III in 1988!
Anyone tried the 630 – good or bad?

Does it have the Fubuki shaft? (White coloured one)

If so, you've got yourself a right decent stick. I nearly bought one, but opted for the JPX instead as it offers more forgiveness. The shaft in the 630 was lovely though and when I clocked one, it was ace.

I think it does. From memory the fast track versions has the UST Axivcore Tour Black shaft.

That's how I remember it to. I really didn't like that shaft at all.

TBH Az' I haven't hit it yet. I'm seeing some really good results from the MP 5 wood with the Fubuki shaft ATM.

I hit the MP CLK a few weeks back, again with the Fubuki shaft and it felt really nice.

Like I said in the other thread. I can see myself adding the CLK and MP-630 driver very soon indeed.

It does have the white fubuki shaft, 10.5 reg for me now, getting older and a few injuries have slowed me up a tad!
Will be a Nike SQ dymo in stiff 9.5 deg up for sale soon!

Yeah ive got one, nice driver. Mine is the Fast track version, but i don't use the weights.

I've the white fubuki stiff shaft, which is bot working for me at the moment, getting far too much spin over 4000rmp, so losing a load od distance, not the driver fault.
