Thinking of upgrading my old s3 pro motocaddy to m7 remote.
Some decent offers on motocaddy preowned.
Like the idea of gps version but not sure is it worth the extra money for it.
Seen a lot of second hand ones for sale that either screen crashed or couldn't connect to satellite.
Curious to hear from people who own motocaddy trolleys with gps is it worth extra money.

I've got the M5 GPS, but don't really use the GPS feature as I have a Garmin watch anyway. The cost of GPS in a trolley is so much more than the more basic M1 model, I personally don't think it's worth it. If your course is anything like mine, they will ban trolleys in the winter for several months and you won't be able to use it.

If you do get something from Motocaddy preowned, use the code DAD10 for 10% off. It was for Father's Day last year, but it still works.

member of links course in Scotland no bans in winter just bloody mats.
Idea for having gps on trolley was especially in winter when layer up not to use watch
checked the code and its work cheers for that

I have M7 and I love it, bought off a good pal who bought a Stewart follow trolley and he is not impressed one bit. He has had quite a few problems.
It is quite a heavy unit with two motors. I have had a few repairs, predominately wear and tear. The guy who repairs tham basically said, the more bits on a trolley, the more they go wrong. Having had a lot on the site I would deffo go for the grade 2 esp if you can get 10% off.

On GPS....why have GPS on a remote trolley? You cant read it as you go as the trolley wont be next to you.
I have an M7 remote, and love it. The ability to be able to walk upright is fantastic.
The lad has an M7 remote, and after extracting the micheal out of me for having one, sold his MC and got the M7 Remote.
The eldest daughter has just ordered the new (mk2?) M7 remote, and will be getting rid of her GoKart mk1.
They are great trolleys.

I’ve owned several electric trollies over the years and found most upgrades pointless. Remote trollies are excellent though and that upgrade is worth it.

I’ve a Stewart golf x10 follow and have to say I love the follow function but the follow benefits are not a huge leap from a remote trolley. It’s just nice to put your hands in your pockets on cold days and carry an umbrella when it’s raining.
