MOT time

It's that nervy time of year when the old girl goes in for a service and MOT. Not usually worried, but this year it doesn't look good.

To start with I managed to ram my own wall the other day, and put a hole in the bumper and smash the fog light on the near side. Only lived there 11 years, and had the car for 8 of them, so not sure what that was all about.

This last week I have noticed an ever expanding puddle of something slimey where ever I park. Not a good sign.

This also corresponds to having a box of neutrals instead of my usually smooth auto transmission. Yesterday it would only use first and second. Not good for commuting down the M1.

The blower has packed up, so no heating in the morning, or cooling in the evening.

The air con gave up the ghost last year too.

Had a warning on the wheel bearing last year too.

The good news is that the windows go up and down again.

But the rust issues get worse. Alot worse.

Chugged it into Webuyanycar.com, and it is worth £790 tops. The bill to fix what is bust is likely to be way higher than this. Trouble is, I can't afford to change it til next year.

Cars. Useless things. Money pits the lot of them.

Dash board lights died on the way home tonight. Bugger. I need to get on ebay and buy a head torch.
