There's a lot of assumptions being made....

If the Portuguese police, and subsequently the Met had a case against the McCanns what do you think would happen? And if the McCanns were guilty do you think they would continue to attract a focus on the case?

If the Met have open leads I'm all for them pursuing them. And if they catch the culprits, or in a miracle of miracle Maddie is found...WOW!

Getting the funding approved would have been extremely difficult, and it must have been some case to get that extra funding. How about supporting that rather than petty finger pointing.

If the Police do have leads then fair enough, but if they don’t then I do feel 11 years is long enough for the authorities to draw a line under it all and move on.
Sadly I feel we will never know what happened to her.

i'm a little confused as to my the met would be spending this amount keeping a case open that was outside of its jurisdiction and in another country.
