Luckily for him it didn't happen while leaving his house at 2 in the morning with a 9-iron wielding other half in hot pursuit. As far as I know.

Word up here is the van driver got out and when Monty came up the van driver said "oops, sorry Robin, I didnae realise you were filming Mrs Doubtfire 2 in Scotland"

The driver has a mild concussion but should be okay soon

I'm guessing some pedestrian rustled a sweet wrapper while Monty was driving past and it put him off.

i'd heard that the police were puzzled to find 5 activated air bags as the car is only fitted with 4.
They then realised that the impact had dislodged one of his pillows from the fold in his chins
