Has anyone got any advice for me on ending a mole problem that has recently reared it's ugly head in my back garden ???? Ideally something humane but open to suggestions. thanks

all together now.......

"There's only one way to get rid of a mole.....and that's to blow it's bloody head off"

OMG did it hurt when I first saw him do this routine.

How to stop moles from digging in your garden. Take their spades away.

Sorry but that had to be done. Coat being collected now.

Food source is worms, get rid of the worms the moles go next door.

Another almost silly simple method is that they generally surface at 8.30 and 16.30.
Stand quietly with spade in hand and howk them out.

As embarrassing as it might be your doctor will not be shocked and will recommend a course of treatment

Trapping or gassing - if you cant stomach it get a pest controller in.

First had a mole in my garden in 2001, stressed I was flippin suicidal. Dug up its tunnels put hose pipe down from the car, tried drowning it, the lot.
Then I bought a mole trap and installed it the day I went to America for two weeks.
When I came back the trap had gone off and hey presto, one mole gone to the big garden in the sky.
put said trap along the tunnel line, make sure the trap and tunnel are covered in muck so there is no light ( moles think that tunnel has been dug up by predators) put a bucket over trap and wait.
Bloody things tipped me over the edge.

Mole traps are like a big spring, set it and shove it into the tunnel, cover with a bit of plastic and some topsoil (plastic is so you can find the trap again!!!). If you don't want to see a trapped mole struggling for freedom then wait 4/5 days before pulling it out.

Not done it myself but have seen a pest control guy do it when a friends garden was practically destroyed by 7/8 moles that moved in.
