mods. where is my photo R15

Rick Shiels teasing a review of the R15 going on his channel today, so be interested to see how it performs. Been some excellent gear out already this year, so excited to see what TM have to offer.

TM japan apparently let the driver out of the bag last night (with official pics), but officially it'll be announced some time late tonight.

Mygolfspy have some very good pictures of it. Looks really nice. Not my favourite looking driver of the year so far though, big fan of the look of the G30 and the Titleist 915.

No linking until after the release.

Aren't Asian and European models different?

Japan have lots of their own models that don't make it anywhere else, but they generally also sell the same stuff that is available here too.

.... in this particular case unless you speak Japanese then you'll only be looking at the pictures until tonight when the full spec gets released.

Fair enough, had a little look and that article came up before the Japanese links :) Looks nice though, like the look of the double weights. Bit of a gimmick, but looks cool.

Maybe gimmick was the wrong word, but those weights make such a small difference to performance. I'm sure the stability setting will help with the MOI, but only slightly. These sliding settings can only do so much. If you've got a slice, setting the weight to the draw setting will not make a big difference, the face will still be open to the path. Aimed more at making small adjustments for the pro's rather than helping an amateur change shot shape, which is how it's marketed.

Dan earlier this year I was beside my self with my. SLDR so much so I went to ping at gainsboro to have a fitting with a view to buying a new G30. 9 times out of ten my drive with the G30 went in exactly the same place as with my SLDR. In essence the fitter said "Tashyboy yer swing is crap" or words to that effect. The very last thing he said was your clubface is open 14 degrees in virtually every drive. In essence it don't matter where the weight is for me. If the face is open my drives goin right.

i toed in my club and everything's goin straight down the middle. Strange thing is on Tuesday I had a drive with a friends 913 D3 which is set to draw and absolutely mullered it without trying. I like my SLDR but the 913 set at draw felt so easy to hit.
