Mod free weekend.........this weekend.

you and me both. I have to edit so many posts on here as type as I say (I reckon I could give bratty a run for his money)

thats the point though. on a forum we can;t just always say it as we mean it. Its damn hard but thats the downside to internet chat.

I plan on having a forum free weekend then will log on again on Monday to finalise plans for a round on Tuesday with fellow forumers.

I can honestly say I'd miss the forum should a few spoil it for the many, but I'm sure we are miles away from closure. Stricter measures can be introduced before it gets that far but I think this weekend is a chance for the few to act their age.

And to help, a notice from mike stating an instant ban should he see fit, no chances, no warnings, you've broke the rules so goodbye

Golf course open finally after 2 weeks, girlfriend working day and night over bank holiday weekend I'll only be in the house long enough to change shirts! Just hope there's a forum to come back to on Tuesday!

Nah Amanda.
Pull up a chair, get a bowl of popcorn and watch the boys make fools of themselves.

I think all future equipment freebies should be restricted to us girls.

Regards
Mimms the Teacher's Pet.

Ooh yes - good thought! I'm in :-) A bowl of Mini Eggs though!

I'm fairly grateful that i'm going to be busy all weekend and probably won't get to spend much time on here. I'm not really interested in watching a forum self destruct so i'll spend the weekend perusing some Diving forums and planning some holiday diving later in the year. Anyone know where the best place to dive for some decent sized Lobster in Galway Bay?

Cheers Karen, I was thinking more of bagging them myself whilst in the water to be honest. Ii'll be heading down to Linnanes in New Quay tonight for some Crab claws though. I can't afford the restaurant price of Lobster...

T'was meant to be a joke! ;)

How's the surf looking round there? I've never dived but always thought it a good complimentary hobby for surfing - good swell - surf, flat - dive!

Was over at Lahinch yesterday and the surf was a bit flat to be honest. At most it was running at a foot, foot and a half just off shore. It was also ridiculously cold with the Easterly wind. I still would have suited up though. Its at times like this that I miss diving a bit too much. Every time I consider moving to the coast, I realize that golf would probably end up taking second place to some serious water time...

This what Lahinch looked like yesterday....

You could go to Muff and swim around.

By road is 341 km on the N17 and N15 to travel back. :)
