Just got a new Mizzy pencil bag to replace my old and very worn, 2nd generation Scratch Sac.
I decided on the 2010 model (SS IV) as I wasn't really bothered about the dual strap as it's really only for carrying a half set for playing a quick 9 and through the winter.
Got an absolute bargain from clubhouse Golf, £25 plus a couple of quid postage and it's a lovely grey/silver and black colour. But that's not the best bit.
The old bag was not particularly waterproof and the material was a bit thick, cotton like and quite heavy for a pencil bag, not the new(er) one it's not. Fully waterproofed and very, very lightweight with a wide enough club tube to take a full set if you like.
3 decent sized pockets and a brolly strap make it able to handle all the kit you need and the single strap is padded and very comfortable. Also came with a velcro attachment "shower cap" rain hood.
So just a summary heads up to anyone that may be looking for a pencil bag for the winter that they could do worse than one of these and at £25 it's an absolute steal.
