I'm looking into abandoning my starting set irons for something a bit better. I have tried a lot of clubs in the past 10 days and the MX 25 are those I hit best.

The problem I have with my current irons is that full swings turn too often into 10 storey high balloon shots and "proper" irons don't seem to give me this problem.

The only aspect I couldn't test of the MX 25 is shots to real greens. Those at the range are not realiable to understand if I had managed to stop the ball or not. Does anyone have experience with these clubs?

They are there waiting for me in my pro shop for just £120 so I'm really really tempted.

Sorry, where is that pro shop again???!!! :D

bargain :) excellent irons, look good, forgiving but when you catch it pure they feel brilliant. Stopping obviously depends on swing speed, spin rate, firmness of greens etc. but they do have a good ball flight for me and I have no problem stopping it when I hit the green.

For £120 you have not got much to lose I am sure you could shift them for about the same if you did not get on with them...but I reckon you will ;)
