Mizuno mp5 & mp25

Both not as nice looking as the irons they are replacing. Mizuno irons seem to be getting worse looking not better

Who is the target market for the MP25's? What level of player?

I presume it's leaning towards elite amateurs / pro's that want a little forgiveness?

Those MP-25's look mint. I'd say with being an AP2 user, they look similar in design with how the weight of the head is. If that makes sense.

funny I am not so keen on the mp25 but the mp5 do look lovely.

waiting with bated breath to see the new ap2 irons.

I love my Ap2 710. My mate was trying, G30, G25, Nike Speed, and Taylormade Afterburners last night and I wouldn't swap my Ap2's for any of them after trying them. Always felt Mizunu gear was reserved for the elite player.

The target market is exactly as you have described it. However anyone can play any iron. Its a small headed iron with a shallow cavity. A replacement for the MP 15.

Target market will be decent ball strikers who still want a touch of forgiveness. They tend to be low teens and below.

Elite amateurs and pros is a small market.

Ye, ill conceded to that... I guess the old "better player" is the target market... whatever that is.

Like the look of both of these.

The MP5 reminds me a little of the MP32 from a few years ago, with the channel in the back of the blade. Those were the best irons I ever owned and always regretted selling them. Nowadays though I think I'd go with the 25's for a little more help.

I suppose then the conclusion is that the people that it would most obviously suit are elite level players who want a bit more forgiveness than blades, but the target market is those players plus any player that aspires to play with a stylish looking iron who can hit a reasonably decent ball.

I've been thinking about the Srixon Z745s which are in a similar market but I question whether, with my rational sensible hat on, I'm good enough to use them.

I find with players irons the length of the blade is the most forgiving element. My MP 53 are a reasonable length without getting ugly. If you look at the Titleist CB or the Ping S55 the blade length is very short.

Like the look of both TBH, Mp5 does not look that different from my MP4's.

Id be interested in seeing the 25 in the flesh, they do look JPX like.
