So, I have some cash burning a hole in my sky rocket, and thinking about changing my RSI TP irons.
Was thinking the mp15 as they look great, tried them with xp115 shafts and they were very good, what about the others? Is it the h5? Wasn't massively impressed with the 25 though.
Is there much diff between the 5&15?
Thanks

H5 is a hollow cast iron in long irons and part hollow/forged in 7 and up, designed to look like a MP range iron but to be forgiving with a wider sole. My understanding is the hollow back mimics a cavity. Stock shaft in these seem to be the KBS C-Taper Lite, although custom options are still available on these.
Would not be my first choice personally.
MP15 is a grain flow forged Titanium insert muscle back, dedigned to be more of a players iron. They have no cavity at all.
Surprised the MP25s didnt impress as they are one of the best cavity irons Mizuno have made since the MP52 IMO. The MP54 are the older incarnation but also still very good.
MP4 and MP5 are the blade offerings.
You may want to look at the new JPX900 range, the forged and tour models look superb.
Eying up a combo set myself.

Saw the 900 tour the other day and they look very nice indeed.

I would also have a go with the MP 4 or 5 they are surprisingly forgiving, for a blade. Ive the Mp4 with ctaper 120 and i hit these better than the JPX825 i had before and even go a couple of yards further if anything, but that might be the shaft.

Current Mizuno blades are nowhere near as unforgiving as the older models, try the MP 5 s if you like the look of them you will be amazed how easy they are to hit.

thanks folks, there is a fitting centre not too far away at Edenmoor, bout 45 mins from me, so will give them a bell, the rsi head i currently use I can hit well, so not overly concerned about blades etc, had mp63's and titleist MB's also, but I am hoping to get the right shaft. head combo to get the most out of the iron. Hit the rsi udi on Saturday as one of my playing partners bought one, and it was so easy hit, had the ctaper lite shaft in and was just a dream to hit! My kbs tours are fine, but sometimes I feel I have to give them a little extra 'hit' to get the most from them.

I have not hit the Mizzys you mention but i have to say that the C Tapers are weapons in the right hands. Really spring the ball out there.

Having bashed a few clubs up the range recently nothing gets close to my current set of Adams XTD forged with the C Tapers. Its nuts how much they fly

Slightly OT sorry but i am feeling nothing but love for these shafts

Yes, couldn't see me getting anything else in a club at the moment. Took me a few months to get used to them though. After using S300 the whole time Ive played, they felt a bit dead to start with, but not now.

Lots of people pick out the MP25 as they bad penny in the range. They are the most unmizuno club they make, but they do sell so I guess not everyone wants that lovely soft feel.

I love my 15's, always struggled in the wind but these coupled with PX 5.5's have been a revelation. Not much help with mi***** but that is not top of everybody's priority in an iron.

I have just treated myself to a set of mp5s. I was going to have a combo set with the 25's, but I actually hit the 5's better than the 25's, they also looked better and felt better.

I was originally fitted for x100's but really didn't get on with them on the course, hated the feel and didn't give me the flight I was after. I returned the irons FOC and had C taper stiff installed as I had in my last irons (Adams CMB). They now feel superb and give me the flight I was after. This proved to me you can't believe everything you see on a monitor.

I was given the option of changing to the Jpx tours of i wanted when I returned the mp5's, I was very happy with the heads and prefered the look over the jpx tours so I stayed with the mp5's.

Cheers folks, just need to find time to get an apt booked. I have been looking at the mo 5 and they look a lot like the titleist mb I had and I hit those well so I'm quite looking forward to trying a few things to see what works.
