Really fancy some Mizuno irons early next year, i'm just unsure on the model range. If you play any type of Mizuno irons, give me some feedback on what you use & what you think.

Which irons are the more forgiving, which are more blade like?

Cheers all!!

To be fair there is a Mizzy set for everyone of all standards and you dont tell us anything about you to help . I have just bought a combo set on Ebay of MP68 and 58's - the 68's look gorgeous and are the slightly older version of the MP69's both of which are true blades.

I have Mizuno MP32 blades

Best clubs I've ever owned, bar none. Lovely to look down at, beautifully made. These are definatley a blade, or "players" club.

If you're looking for forgiveness, JPX 800/825 range is where it's at

Looking at the link, I'd probably opt for JPX Pro's but would also try the MP-59's as I like the thinner top line.

get fitted , i went with the intention of buying the jpx800 , i hit them well sometimes i would murder it

but then i tried the mp53 , and i was so consistent , so its all about what you need ?

are you a good iron player or need some assistance with a larger sweet spot , plus the type of shaft makes a huge difference to feel and strike , so go along and hit them !

remember it doesnt matter what everyone else thinks its whats right for you :fore:

Another vote for the JPX 825 Pro

As easy to hit as a game improvement iron, note most off the shelf Mizunos tend to be 2 deg flat so get fitted

I use mp-52's, first set of Mizzys that I have had and I don't think i'll ever change brand now.

The mp53 used a pretty good value at the moment on eBay.

i'm so tempted by these, and you have a titleist 913 driver to....

you have the bag i want and its not fair!

I got very lucky with the driver! Just hanging out for the matching fairway and 19 deg hybrid and my bag will be complete forever and ever! Well, until the next time I go on eBay ;)

My tuppence worth, Mizuno make some great irons. Its up to you to decide what would be best for your game. I currently play 53's which are excellent clubs.

I've actually tried some Mizuno's earlier today, tried the 59, 64 and 69 with a few different shafts in each. Best of the bunch was the 69, fantastic feel to it and hit some really solid shots. Liked the 59 but just didn't get on with the 64, which is backed up by the fact that I didn't get on with the 63 either in the past. Cant comment on the JPX range as I have never hit them.

Get out there and demo some mizzies, go for the one you hit best.
