Mizuno irons

I changed my Mizuno MX23 irons for the MX200 recently.

I simply am not getting the sweet shots that I used to get.

I only changed the irons because I had money in the pro-shop and I was leaving, so thought new irons would be a good idea.

Can anyone suggest why this should be? Are the MX200 heavier?

As far as I am aware the shafts were the same - Standard R300. The set up is fsctory set - haven't changed it.

The standard spec is very similar between the 2 sets so any discrepancy is probably down to the way you're hitting the ball.
Maybe your timing's a little off.

Thanks. The only other difference is that I had new grips fitted to the old set, but surely that couldn't make much difference? You are probably right - have booked some more lessons to try and sort it.
