well i can not praise them enough got fitted friday the pro ordered them monday morning and guess what they arrived today so a custom set of irons took 3 days to get to my pro how good is that

Ye it was the same for me. I got fitted just days before christmas and they were to the pro 2 days later, sadly he was away by then. They are a great company for sure.

just hope i can hit the bloody things as good as i did in the fitting but surely i only bought them to look at there too shiny for playing with

Which clubs? Would be interested to hear any stories of the new JPX 800/Pros.

They are VERY long(maybe as much as 10-20 yards over MPs, the JPX are Hot Metal(cast crap) the Pros are Forged. Both a little chunky for my eye but no more so than any Cally or Ping. Good shovels with the right shaft for you. The JPX may be even longer than the Pro.

I could do with the extra yards! Thinking of getting fitted for some to replace my ageing MX17s.

MMmmmm, new clubs......

DO IT!! well at least go and have a play. What you playing off.

Got myself down to 22 towards the end of the year, but haven't played for a few months, so probably back up a bit. Unfortunately, my last job didn't allow for regular playing. However, the new one should :)

Got some mx 300 last week, after playing with mx 17s for
about 4 years.I was tempted by the 53s but the price put me
off, paid 340 quid for them and I just love em..

How much were the MP 53? and how many clubs?

Mizuno are not the only cf company that work quickly. My pro ordered my Titleist custom clubs by email on a Wednesday, a week before Christmas, and they arrived on the Friday - great service too especially in the heavy snow :D

Having tried both recently, I was almost swayed with the JPX model. I don't have a hang up about cast clubs, so it didn't bother me. Granted it has slightly enhanced lofts, but it was probably only half a club longer than the MP57s I was replacing. So they are not scary long IMHO. With my ideal shaft it was only the dispersion that put me off this one. I was after more help from a new iron, so a wide spread was not what I was looking for.

The JPX Pro on the other hand had a slightly better look at address, less offset and thinner top line, (although not a thin topline) and a better sound off the face for my liking. With my choice of shaft it did perform well and I was able to group the ball in a better spread than the JPX model.

Whilst neither are sleek players clubs, i.e. blades or shallow cavity backed clubs, they are definitely not shovels either. The JPX is the bulkier of the two but it isn't anywhere near some of the other GI offerings on the shelf at the moment.

The thing to remember is that the real engine is the shaft, get the shaft correct and you'll be fine. The clubhead is down to your preference and what inspires confidence.

:D

What DCB said.

@Homer, go on sir, go have another play with them, you worked so hard last year and never did get those I15s. Mizzy is calling.

OMG I have turned into a Mizzy pusher... :o

I guess I just want people to fall in love like I did.

@BROOKIE WOW that is alot of money. I got 5-PW for £450 - £75 for my old Wilson irons. Any shaft any grip.

I've tried a few clubs lately and have always liked the look of Mizunos. I tried the MP68, MX300 and JPX800 Pro. I have to admit to being a little disappointed with them. To me, in comparison to other clubs I've been trying (Titleist AP2, CB710 and Ping I15 :o in particular) they did the job but were dull.
