well i decided to go and have a mizuno fitting today at garforth gc leeds with two iron choices in mind that i like the mp-58 and mp63 first thing they do is give you the swing d.n.a club and tell you to hit a few balls to get yur swing going to a normal speed after 5-6 balls he turned it on and i hit the 1st ball the reading were
ball 1. club head speed 95 tempo 6 toe down 3 kick angle 4 release factor 5, ball 2 chs 95 t 7 td 3 ka 5 rf 5, ball 3 chs 94 t 7 td 3 ka 4 rf 5 after the 3 shots they input all the details into the laptop which give them a choice of shafts for your swing the results came back with 3 choices 1 dynamic gold x100 2 project x 6.5 kbs x he then got the 3 shafts out of the cart all plus 1/2 inch i tried all the differant combos of the 3 shafts and 2 head choices and with the shot dispersion and ball flight i came to the decision of the mp-58 with the project x 6.5 shaft then came the loft lie test which came back as me needing +3 degrees then another choice was what grip i needed on them i chose the staff blue multi compound midsize with 2 wraps i ordered them and they should be with me next friday ready for the game saturday morning i cant wait it will be the first set of brand new irons i have had :) :) :)

i apologise for the no paragraphs or full stops was never any good at that at school more interested in p.e and woodwork class

yeah cant wait for them the pro said i have a very consistant swing with the irons with what it said on the d.n.a machine really looking forward to playing with them now i opted for the 3-pw

Welcome to the club. I just had a fitting and got the last of my clubs today. I got the MP-53(review coming soon)and they are just about as beautiful a thing as you could make with a block of metal. I am told by HID that they will last me forever :D

the shafts i had no idea what i needed they came back as all x stiff where i have been using stiff i didnt think i even had that quick of club head speed so was really suprised

Well 95 with a 6 iron is faster than a lot of folks swing their drivers!

I would imagine your driver speed is up around 110-115 with the same swing.

Thai's some stiff shaft. I did the Mizuno c/f a few weeks ago and just got to Project x 5.5! I bought Titleist AP2 in the end

Hope you like them!

I am 95 mph with my driver :o

6 iron speed is usually about 85% of driver speed, so 110-115 for the driver is probably about right. At that speed, not surprised that PX6.5 or X100s suggested, particularly if quick tempo (6-7 in data above).

I Got fitted at Clays in Wrexham 9 days ago.I picked up the MP 53s yesterday I ended up with dynalite S300, 1/2" longer, 1* upright, lofts 1* strong.

I never would of thought i needed 1/2 inch longer but apparently my arms are short for my 6ft height, iv'e always had a problem with hitting the ball out of the toe, now I know why.

I used MP53s before with DGs300 but the dynalite is much better for me. more distance, better ballflight and much tighter dispersion. Ive only got 2 range sessions to go off but the new clubs are looking good, I,m catching the occasional shot heavy but i'm thinking its due to the extra length.

Ive been playing 10 years and never really been properly custom fit before, ive hit balls into a net using trackman/vector, but after going to Mizuno I dont really think you can call that custom fitting. I also couldn't believe it was all for free.Great day out, highly recommended.
